Liza Shtromberg Jewelry is so excited to also reintroduce this antique-style from the early twentieth century.

Milgrain Embellishment engagement and wedding rings are typically made with a tool that can be rolled over metal surfaces, creating a row of bumps and depressions that are then rounded, smoothed, and polished.

Liza uses this antique French style, meaning, “thousand grains,” to give contemporary jewelry a hand-crafted and sought-after romantic vintage feel to new engagement rings, wedding rings, and earrings.

Milgrain detail was generally used to adorn the edges of rings, but Liza also uses it to embellish and frame gemstones, which highlights the beauty of the gem in the center, as seen in the picture below.

Clients who are attracted to the look of vintage engagement rings also love the decorative accent of the Milgrain Embellishment rings.

As always, Liza is happy to customize a milgrain piece specially for you and your loved one. Or, if you already have an antique engagement ring, or estate piece, Liza can make a matching wedding band that will truly be a one-of-a-kind set.
